SOPEMEA is looking for a PROJECT LEADER engineer (M/F)

SOPEMEA (220 employees, 23.3 million euros in turnover), a subsidiary of the APAVE Group, is one of Europe's largest private environmental testing laboratories involved in the study and qualification of equipment, sub-systems and systems for high-tech industries.  For more than 70 years, SOPEMEA has been offering its clients a complete range of testing services for all types of materials and equipment in the mechanical, vibratory, climatic, electrical, hydraulic, electromagnetic and radio compatibility fields.  SOPEMEA has 8 sites in France and one in the UK and covers the aeronautics, energy and nuclear, defence, rail, space, automotive and medical markets.

a project leader engineer (M/F)

MISSIONS

 

In relation with the Department Head / Project Portfolio Manager and in support of the sales team, the Project Manager acts as a conductor to :


  • direct the writing of proposals and amendments according to the nature and complexity of the projects as well as their life cycle,
  • Organize and manage the projects assigned to him/her from start to finish,
  • Create a collaborative team environment, 
  • Optimize risk management on projects and involve stakeholders effectively.


PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of similar experience (similar experience on an Airbus related project would be a plus) Good level of English (minimum C1).

Mastery of project life cycles, project task planning within a team and project performance measurement tools (EVM principle, earned value management)
 
Organized, rigorous, involved, you are able to work independently and proactively, you can act quickly and have a sense of leadership. 

You master the classic Microsoft computer tools and have the ability to write and conduct telephone discussions.

Your personal qualities (dynamism, curiosity in the technical field, adaptability as well as discretion and autonomy) will also be a guarantee of success for this position.
