Sopemea is recruiting a test technician for its Sopaval subsidiary

The SOPEMEA division (220 employees, 23.3 million euros in turnover), a subsidiary of the APAVE Group, is one of the largest private environmental testing laboratories in Europe involved in the study and qualification of equipment, sub-systems and systems for high-tech industries. For more than 70 years, the SOPEMEA cluster has offered its clients a complete range of testing services for all types of materials and equipment in the mechanical, vibratory, climatic, electrical, hydraulic, electromagnetic and radio compatibility fields. The SOPEMEA division has 8 sites in France and one in the UK and covers the aeronautics, energy and nuclear, defence, rail, space, automotive and medical markets.

For its site in Marly (78), SOPEMEA is looking for

a Test Technician (M/F) 

MISSIONS


  • Based on the applicable product standards and internal procedures, set up and conduct tests.
  • Carrying out test set-ups
  • Schematic analysis, electronic board analysis, failure mode analysis. Implementation of failure tests. 
  • Compilation and analysis of results.
  • Writing of test reports,
  • Participation in the general reflection for the continuous improvement of the laboratory's productivity,
  • Participate in the maintenance of the laboratory's COFRAC and CBTL accreditations (audit, drafting of test procedures, metrology follow-up, etc.)



PROFILE

2+2/Bac+3 technical degree: BTS Electronics or Electrical Engineering / BTS Maintenance / DUT GEII or Physical Measurements (TI) / Professional Licence.

  • At least 3 years experience in environmental testing or electrical compliance
  • Good relationship with customers. 
  • Rigour, autonomy, organisation and teamwork, 
  • Mastery of the usual office tools desirable.
  • Respect and knowledge of product standards
  • Respect for quality procedures and COFRAC / CBTL requirements
  • Good command of technical English desirable
