Sopemea is recruiting a test technician for its Velizy subsidiary

SOPEMEA (220 employees, 23.3 million euros in turnover), a subsidiary of the APAVE Group, is one of Europe's largest private environmental testing laboratories involved in the study and qualification of equipment, sub-systems and systems for high-tech industries. For more than 70 years, SOPEMEA has been offering its clients a complete range of testing services for all types of materials and equipment in the mechanical, vibratory, climatic, electrical, hydraulic, electromagnetic and radio compatibility fields. SOPEMEA has 8 sites in France and one in the UK and covers the aeronautics, energy and nuclear, defence, rail, space, automotive and medical markets.

For its site in Vélizy (78), SOPEMEA is looking for

a Test Technician (M/F) 

MISSIONS :

Reporting to the Head of Testing in the mechanical or climatic field, your main missions will be the following:

  • Preparation of tests,
  • Carrying out test set-ups
  • Carrying out tests,
  • Keeping the technical file,
  • Technical assistance to the client and support throughout the service,
  • Writing of test reports,
  • Participation in the general reflection for the continuous improvement of the laboratory's productivity,
  • Participation in the drafting of estimates.
  • Participation in the laboratory's metrology


PROFILE :

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the ability to work in an environment that is conducive to the development of the business and to the achievement of the business objectives.

 

  • At least 3 years experience in environmental testing.
  • Good relationship with customers.
  • Rigour, autonomy, organisation and teamwork,
  • Good command of the usual office tools.
  • Good command of technical English desirable
