Sopemea is recruiting an electrician and functional test engineer

SOPEMEA (220 employees, 23.3 million euros in turnover), a subsidiary of the APAVE Group, is one of Europe's largest private environmental testing laboratories involved in the study and qualification of equipment, sub-systems and systems for high-tech industries. For more than 70 years, SOPEMEA has been offering its clients a complete range of testing services for all types of materials and equipment in the mechanical, vibratory, climatic, electrical, hydraulic, electromagnetic and radio compatibility fields. SOPEMEA has 8 sites in France and one in the UK and covers the aeronautics, energy and nuclear, defence, rail, space, automotive and medical markets.

For its site in Vélizy (78), SOPEMEA is looking for a Test Technician (M/F) to carry out functional checks

 

MISSIONS 


Within the Qualification and Testing department, the electrical and functional test engineer is in charge of electrical and functional tests. In addition to carrying out these tests, he/she may be responsible for managing certain test campaigns. 
In this capacity, his or her main missions are as follows: 


  • Operational part : 
    • Preparation and execution of electrical and functional tests on electrical equipment (relays, circuit breakers, contactors, etc.) and pneumatic equipment (pneumatic actuators, valves, flaps, etc.),
    • Definition, implementation and validation of new test benches,
    • Technical assistance,
    • Writing of test reports,

     

  • Project management part : 
    • Ensure regular proactive communication with business stakeholders (customer, test teams, time overrun...). 
    • Participate in the development of test procedures upstream of the project and have them validated by internal and external customers, 
    • Participate in key project milestones (planning, kick-off meeting, follow-up meeting and closing meeting) with internal and/or external customers,
    • Participation in feasibility and costing requests from the sales department,

 


PROFILE
This mission is aimed at a junior technical engineer, reactive, proactive and able to handle several projects in parallel. 

The position is based in Vélizy (78).
