The Limoges EMC Conference,
a key event for the industry

The International Conference on Electromagnetic Compatibility is the leading event for the scientific community in the field of EMC. This edition will be organised by the XLIM Institute, a joint research unit of the CNRS. This conference is part of an evolution in EMC-related needs, particularly with the energy transition and electrical conversion technologies. This meeting offers a unique showcase for tomorrow's solutions to ensure the reliability and safety of equipment.
This event, which is highly regarded by international scientists, will be an opportunity for Christophe Girard, Director of AxesSim, to present a paper entitled ‘Numerical modelling of transient signals induced on aircraft wiring using a bidirectional FDT/MTLN hybrid approach’. This paper was co-authored with the XLIM Institute and Dassault Aviation.
The complementarity
of testing and simulation

The joint presentation at the conference highlights the relevance of Sopemea's acquisition of AxesSim in 2021, which has enabled the creation of a comprehensive and unique service offering in the EMC market, covering the needs for qualification and modelling through specific electromagnetic simulations. This shared expertise enables us to address the challenges faced by our customers in key sectors such as aerospace, defense, automotive, and energy.
AxesSim offers a range of software solutions and engineering services:
- Simulation solutions such as AXS-EMC, AXS-HD, AXS-SAR and AXS-AP enable optimal modelling of equipment and its integration into complex systems in order to prevent risks of non-compliance and optimise qualification.
- In addition to simulation tools, AxesSim offers tailor-made technical support, with predictive studies and a research service for the implementation of new algorithms.

Sopemea, AxesSim's mother company, offers complementary EMC services to support your products through the qualification process before they are placed on the market, thanks in particular to some of the most extensive testing facilities in Europe:
- Sopemea offers lightning tests and tests in EMC chambers of various sizes to accommodate your equipment, from the lightest to the most voluminous. Sopemea can also assist you in obtaining the CE marking required to market your products in Europe.
- In order to provide you with the best possible support in managing your EMC issues, Sopemea also offers in-house and inter-company training courses.
By participating together in the EMC Conference in Limoges, Sopemea and AxesSim demonstrate that the EMC offering is now an operational reality, providing manufacturers with comprehensive expertise from the simulation phase to qualification in order to realistically simulate the performance of your products and systems and their operability: from design to commissioning, we assess the impact and risks associated with their electromagnetic environment. This is a necessary equation that must be solved upstream.
Research and development has always played an important and essential role in AxesSim's activities. This ongoing investment in innovation has enabled AxesSim to provide its customers with high-performance software that is adapted to their changing needs. Participating in the EMC 2026 Conference allows us to share our latest advances with the scientific community and anticipate new challenges related to EMC.
